Books on the Move Global
Books on the Move was started in 2012 by Hollie Fraser with the founding of Books on the Underground in London, UK. She then moved to NYC and founded Books on the Subway, and Books on the Move became a global movement. Books on the Move has grown to over 25 independent branches in cities across 14 different countries.
Every day, hundreds of books are left on public transportation for people to take, read, and return for others to enjoy. The aim is to get people reading again, and to make the experience on public transportation more engaged, friendly and enjoyable.
Not in Edmonton? No problem! Head over to Books On The Move Global to see if there’s a branch in your city. If not, you can start your own!
